Dancers express movement using their bodies there are many different styles of dance. Dancers perform in front of live audiences, in videos or for recorded programmes.


Stage manager

Stage managers manage theatre and show sets ensuring equipment and props are ready for each performance.


Stage hand

Stage hands help get items (props etc) ready and on set during live performances in theatres, at concerts and also at TV and film studios.


Screenwriter

Screen writers write for feature films and TV programmes. They might write original material or adapt existing works (e.g. a book) .

Session musicians are hired to perform for live shows and/or studio sessions. They might play instruments and/or singer background vocals.


Studio or Live sound engineer

Studio sound engineers record music, speech and sound effects within a studio. Live sound enigineers record live performances such as concerts.


Songwriter

Songwriters compose lyrics and/or music for songs either for theselves or for other artists. .


Music promotion manager

Music promotion managers publicise recording artists (arranges interviews, sponsorship deals, 'meet the fans' events etc). They also promote their artists live events.
